Here’s what makes me different from all the other brokers out there.
Recently, I received a call from a potential seller, whom I’d never met, who saw one of my videos online. The very first question he asked me was, “What makes you different from any other real estate broker?” That’s a great question that I decided deserved its own video because according to our MLS, there are over 7,000 licensed real estate agents in Medina, Lorain, and Cuyahoga counties.
Let’s begin with the basics: I’ve been in the real estate industry since 1994. I started as a sales agent, then went back to school and became a broker, and now I’m a broker/owner. I have five-star ratings on Google, Zillow, and Realtor.com, and I’ve helped hundreds of clients over my 27-year career.
So what makes me different? First, I don’t run a team model; I work one on one with my clients. My clients are never passed around like a hot potato from teammate to teammate. I don’t see myself as a salesman; I don’t practice sales scripts, make cold calls while people are eating dinner, or do benefit bridges or tie-downs. I offer a professional service to help my clients achieve their real estate goals.
Over the years, technology has made marketing a home easier and more streamlined, but I’ve noticed that the real estate industry has become bloated and inefficient at the expense of consumers. When the pandemic hit, I realized just how bloated and inefficient it truly was. In 2020, over 500 real estate companies closed their doors, yet more houses sold than in 2019. So I broke away from the international franchise that I belonged to and started my own company: Dennis Rath Home Sellers LLC. Due to that, I’m able to offer my clients choices, and since I began my company, I’ve been able to save my clients thousands of dollars.
My mission is simple: to represent my clients’ best interests and maximize their net proceeds. I strive to leave them better off than they would have been if they had chosen a different broker.
