When’s the right time to put your home on the market? This is the No. 1 question I’m being asked right now, so today I’ll answer it. Traditionally, the spring and summer are the busiest times in our market, and the reason why is that people like to sell their homes while school is getting out so they can settle into their new homes before the new school year begins.
Today’s market is being affected by something totally different, and that’s supply and demand. There are very few homes available, and there’s a very high level of demand. The demand is being driven by historically low interest rates, and that demand is driving prices up. If you’re thinking of selling, I’d do it sooner rather than later.
